  • Beach Stone Lakes/Point Pleasant Public Meeting - Sacramento County Water Resources staff met with the residents of Point Pleasant on March 6th to discuss possible solutions for the flooding in the area. County staff encouraged Point Pleasant residents to participate in site visits to provide individual solutions for their property. In addition to the individual consultations, staff invited them to volunteer to participate as members of the Flood Preparedness and Response Plan Committee.   • Natomas Building Approval - There are pending changes to the FEMA regulatory floodplain in the Natomas area that will freeze building permits. Anyone who desires to construct a new structure or substantially improve an existing structure in the unincorporated area of Natomas will be required to obtain approval from the Sacramento County Department of Water Resources Floodplain Management Office.
